Hmmm. Saturday. What am I doing here? Everyone is out enjoying the night and as for me, I’m right in front of my computer now. Why is it so? Hey, my friends do ask me out but I rejected them because I wanted to get my things done this weekend else I hardly will have much time. I’m doing my laundry now. Digging out my jackets and having them all wash. At the same time, I just had my Nike shoes soak in washing powder. This is not what I had planned earlier on. I wanted to wash my shoes last weekend but ended up forgetting it. Sigh~ Hopefully, it will dry on time.

My mum has been nagging at me this entire week. She has constantly been asking me when am I going to pack my things and I kept replying “soon.” Guess she is more excited than me. Next week, will really have to start packing my stuff otherwise I might miss certain things out if I were to do it at the eleventh hour. Tomorrow, will get all my clothing iron and also to clear some of my personal stuff. =D

Yesterday, Eeyore, xiaoMuz and I went to Cineleisure for lunch. We went there for a purpose – to turn “Chicken Little” figurine. To my dismay, the machine located at the basement was not functioning and the machine located at 4th storey out of stock. After which, we made our way to The Heeren hoping to try our luck there but it turned out it was out of stock. Sob sob~ I wanted to get the figurine so badly. It was so cute.

After work, I was the gooseberry as I met up with Hui and her boyfriend. Hmmm. It wasn’t weird because the 3 of us used to go out together. Heehee. Hui gave me a My Melody handphone figurine which she turned from a machine. When she told me that she wanted to try to get other figurines, I asked her if she’s interested to go to Suntec where they had many machines other there. At the same time, I can also get my “Chicken Little”. Again, it’s another disappointment. The store did not have the “Chicken Little” machine. Sob sob. I ended up turning for My melody.

I bought a “Precious Moment” calendar from Marina Square. It is of a heart shaped and the pictures captured my heart. Hui also bought the same one as me but at a cheaper price. Wahahah. There was a midnight shopping madness at Raffles City Shopping Centre. Almost every shop have discount. It was the first time that the three of us has go to a shopping mall which opened till 12 midnight.

I felt that it was a great idea as it gives the working people more time to do their shopping. Instead of having the extended hours during festive season, they should also consider to implement it on Fridays and Saturday’s non-festive season. This is because the working people hardly have the time to shop and if it is Friday, after they knock off at 6pm, they hardly have 3 hours to shop (including their dinner time).

Just now, I went Jurong Point to get my dinner. At the same time, I shop around. I wanted to get a bottle. I saw one bottle with addition of heart-shaped stickers pasted on it and it costs $6.90. I took the bottle to the counter and as I wanted to pay for it, I saw the lady just pack it into a plastic bag. I stared at her and then asked her whether a box is provided. She replied saying that they don’t provide box for the bottles and suggested that I can use papers to wrap it. Of course I was stunned by her reply. One look at the bottle, one will know that it is a gift. And even if she wanted me to use papers to wrap and give it as a gift, it is quite risky as the bottle is fragile. What I don’t like it was she should at least use newspapers to wrap the bottle before putting it into the plastic bag as what NTUC did if you purchase any fragile items. I asked her if there are any boxes, she bent down and continued talking to her friends before standing up and replied that they really didn’t have any boxes. I was starting to be piss off and also don’t like her attitude. I ended up telling her that I will consider to get the bottle despite she had entered the item into the cash register.
