Last night, before Xiaobing and I watched the midnight movie – Just like heaven, we went to have a drink at Mc Café. While he was ordering the drinks, I sat there stoning until I saw a huge thigh in front of me. I started looking from the thigh, then to the person’s grooming. A lady, who was in her mid 20s, dressed in a long white sleeves shirt with a pair of worn out shorts, had her shorts pulled up quite high. The way of dressing plus her spectacles, made her looked so nerdy. As soon as she entered the café, she seemed to be the centre of attraction. Every pair of eyes was fixed on her and there were giggles all over. Hey, but this nerdy girl do have a boyfriend with her. Sigh~ I wondered how her boyfriend, who was dressed in a polo tee shirt and a pair of jeans, felt at the point of time. Will you accept the other party to dress in such a way?
After we had our drink, we made our way to the cinema it was quite surprising that not many people watched this movie yesterday. It was screened in the biggest theater in Jurong Point. We sat in the middle of the last row and for the first time out of so many times that I went to the cinema, there was not a single soul sitting beside us. Only two couples, each at one far end. Heehee! It was so spacious for us to even stretch out of our legs.
It was a romantic comedy. The lead actress, Reese Witherspoon, who was a dedicated doctor, met with an accident thus lead her into a coma. She did not realize it until her soul returned back to her apartment. Strangely, the lead actor, Mark Ruffalo, who rented the apartment for the time being, was the only person who could see Reese’s soul. Reese, begged Mark to help her to find her body and bring her out from coma. During this time, Mark gradually fell in love with her. =)
This afternoon, I watched “All about love” with Xiaobing. It sounded as if I was going for a movie marathon this weekend. Heehee. Again, it was another romance movie. Andy Lau, who was a doctor, hardly had time to even dine with his wife, Charlene Choi. One day, he tried to squeeze some time out to have dinner with her but unfortunately, he was asked to attend to a patient at the very last minute. His wife understood and jokingly told him that it was the “108 times tomorrow” that he had promised. With great disappointment, his wife drove home. On her way home, she met with a fatal accident. Her heart was donated. Six years later, Andy met the girl whose heart belonged to his wife. However, the heart started to fail and it saddened Andy. He knew he couldn’t do much to help her but since this lady whose husband resembles like Andy walked out of her life to pursue his career; Andy tried to pretend that he was her husband and spent the remaining last few moments of her life with her. Isn’t it sad and touching? It made me realize that life is short, make use of every opportunity that comes by and try to fulfill every promise made instead of regretting it. Treasure what you have now and not regret it. Live your life to its fullness. Yeah!
In the evening, I met up with Carrot. We wanted to get the Clinique moisturizer but it was sold out at both Robinson and Sasa. Sob Sob! At least, I bought a pair of socks and a pair of earrings from mini toons. It has been such a long time since I last bought earrings. Heehee
When we had finished doing out shopping, I brought Carrot to the rooftop of the Esplanade. From there, one can view the sea and it was so romantic. It was a hot spot for couples to chill out. Hey hey! Don’t get the wrong idea okie? Carrot and I are just close friends. She is someone whom I can joke, play and confide to. =)
